I’m Catherine, an experienced, award winning Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. As well as working from my peaceful clinic space, I also work online via Zoom with clients all around the UK – and this means that I can help you, no matter where you’re based.

We can all experience difficulties in life sometimes. We can struggle with stress, anxiety, panic attacks, sleep issues, our confidence, low mood and depression, phobias, or long term health conditions that can make our lives difficult. Very often also, we find ourselves reacting and thinking about things negatively which makes our problems feel worse, it can become a vicious circle. Hypnotherapy is a powerful, effective tool that can help people to interrupt this loop of anxiety and stress and guide them back to a place of balance, calm and control. .
I practice Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, which is a positive, powerful combination of solution focused brief therapy and hypnosis, designed to reduce stress and anxiety and calm the mind. As the name suggests, the focus is on the solutions and improvements you want, without needing to analyse your past and dwell on problems. Hypnotherapy is also much more than just relaxation – it’s a tailored therapy personalised to each person’s unique needs and challenges. Each session is focused in a way that allows the client to envision desired changes, explore potential solutions and set achievable goals. During hypnosis I guide the client into a deep state of relaxation where the deeper, subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestion and can begin to form new neural pathways towards the client’s own best hopes and desired outcome.
